I. Preparation

Turn on the control panel power and soft starter cabinet power.

Check that pipelines are clear and the refiner is fully retracted. Open the packing seal water and oil cooling water.

Set the power values for each refiner on the touchscreen according to process requirements.

II. System Operation

1.Start the oil pump motor first.

2.Switch the Manual/Auto selector to Manual, set the Retract/Advance knob to Retract, and adjust the manual power setting knob until the proportional valve opening reaches 20% (oil pressure should be around 3 MPa).

3.After confirming all refiners are fully retracted, start the main motor, then start the stock pump. Adjust the inlet and outlet valves to maintain:

Inlet pulp pressure: 0.15–0.25 MPa

Outlet pulp pressure: 0.30–0.40 MPa

4.Select either Manual or Automatic control mode.

5.Manual Control

(1) Under normal conditions, switch the Retract/Advance knob to Advance, then slowly adjust the power setting knob while monitoring the motor power and current to meet process requirements.

(2)During operation, frequently check the motor power and current. If values exceed or fall below the target, adjust the power setting knob immediately. If sharp metal friction noises occur, stop immediately (shut down the stock pump and main motor) and notify maintenance personnel.

6. Automatic Control

(1) Set the target power value on the touchscreen and switch the Manual/Auto selector to Auto.

(2) The system will automatically adjust the proportional valve opening to maintain the actual power near the set value.
